This emergency pack is a companion pack to the “Personal 3–Day Emergency Response Kits (40001)” (1 per person). It is designed using U.S. Government All–Hazards Preparedness recommendations for families. When used with Personal 3–Day Emergency Response Kits, this pack provides 3 days of emergency support for 1–4 people. Family members can easily share its contents.This emergency pack contains important emergency supplies: emergency instructions, multifunction tool and leather palmed work gloves, family first aid kit and guide, supplies for carrying, purifying and storing additional water, and items to provide shelter, communication, light and sanitation.

These supplies are packed in two durable zip seal plastic bags for convenience in storage and access in a backpack, tote bag, or duffle bag. For storage and carrying of all your personal and family emergency supplies, each person should have their own backpack, bag, or portable container (this is important in case of planned or accidental separation during an emergency).
