Secure Your Life:  Prepare – Respond – Survive™

Our Story

From the super-storm that started it all

to Over 1,600,000 Lives Secured

LifeSecure was literally “born in a storm”…

My name is David Scott, Founder & President of LifeSecure.  As a frightened seven-year-old boy in the eye of a Category 4 (130 MPH) super-typhoon, I learned that it’s an “unsure” world.

I was born in the United States, but my father’s corporate job took our family to Asia, to the Philippine Islands. We hadn’t lived there long, when we were hit by the devastation of Super-Typhoon Yoling.  I’ll never forget trying to stay warm and dry by changing my clothes several times that terrifying day, until everything I owned was soaking wet from the sheets of rain that penetrated much of our home.

The eye of the storm passed directly over our neighborhood, and my family narrowly escaped severe injury or death as the storm battered our home. What we didn’t escape was the aftermath for which we were totally unprepared. We lived for two weeks with no electricity.  We ate only whatever food we had on hand when the storm hit, we lined up at a community pump to get water in buckets, and we returned home to boil it on our charcoal barbecue grill to purify it for drinking.

These hardships taught my family lessons we would never forget. We decided never to be caught unprepared again. We determined to “live Life SECURE” every day by being well prepared for whatever might come again someday. This preparation brought me through many subsequent disasters including additional typhoons, floods, earthquakes, blizzards, severe storms, blackouts, a chemical plant explosion, a volcanic eruption, political violence (including riots, shootings, kidnappings, terrorist bombings), the imposition of martial law, and a global pandemic.

In 2005, I founded LifeSecure with two friends, Larry Ginsberg and Dave Hewitt, just a few months before Hurricane Katrina taught us that one can go hungry and thirsty in America or even die before help arrives. Our mission is to help others “live Life SECURE” every day by preparing for what may come someday.

How are we doing?  To date we have Over 1,600,000 Lives Secured!

The U.S. Armed Forces, Government agencies, Fortune 1000 businesses, schools, universities, medical facilities, and families around the world look to LifeSecure for emergency and trauma first aid kits recognized for superior design, mobility, safety, organization, and functionality.

We do things very differently than others, and that makes all the difference…

-We hand-assemble our kits in the USA from proven emergency and trauma first aid supplies

-We Pack-to-Your-Order, when you place it, to ensure the long-life readiness of our kits

-We won’t use cheap supplies, and we don’t mass produce our kits

-We make kits that we personally depend on to keep our own families and associates secure in the worst of times

I’ve lived through much of what man and nature are capable of throwing at us in this world.  From personal experience, I know that in a real disaster you need an emergency kit and supplies that you can fully count on to keep you SECURE. What you don’t need is a false sense of security from a “bargain backpack” stuffed full of cheap supplies.

Our passion is creating superior kits you can count on to help you Live Life Secure in the hardest of times.

Let us help you Live Life Secure
